Recognition highlights ApexOS, Staylist's next-generation platform for campgrounds and RV parks.
Staylist is proud to be named a finalist for Supplier Innovator of the Year (Large) in the 2026 OHI Awards of Excellence. The nomination recognizes the innovation behind Apex and the impact it is having on how outdoor hospitality businesses operate.
A Record Year for the Awards of Excellence
OHI selected this year's finalists from a record-breaking applicant pool. The Awards of Excellence program celebrates the ideas, initiatives, and people moving outdoor hospitality forward.
Finalists were chosen by a judging panel of OHI board members, campground owners and operators, OHI staff, and, new for 2026, past award winners. Staylist is honored to be recognized alongside fellow Supplier Innovator of the Year (Large) finalists Flatspot Decking Services LLC and Azure Printed Homes.
ApexOS by Staylist: Software That Does the Work
Staylist began in 2015 as a way to book a campsite. Over the years, we kept hearing the same thing from park operators: their software organized the work, but it didn't do any of it. Adding a chatbot to old software wasn't going to change that, so we started over and built ApexOS from the ground up.
Apex is AI-native, not AI bolted on. It works inside reservations, the inbox, the task board, and the ledger, so a request in plain English comes back with the action attached. Nothing runs until a team member approves it.
For campgrounds and RV parks, that changes the busiest days of the year:
- Arrivals that are ready before the guest is. Apex checks every rig's length and slide-outs against its site and flags a mismatch before the rig pulls in.
- No more missed calls. Every call rings through to whoever is free, is transcribed and summarized, and a missed call waits in the inbox with a next step.
- Fuller sites. Orphan nights are flagged on the rates grid, and guests can extend into them from the guest portal.
- One system for the whole park. Reservations, the camp store, metered electric, long-term billing, and maintenance share one record, so a firewood sale lands on the site folio instantly.
- A playbook that stays after the summer crew leaves. New hires describe a task, and Apex agents carry it out inside the park's own approval rules.
The software does the work, so a small team can handle peak season and still have time for the guests in front of them.
What This Recognition Means to Us
Being named a finalist for Supplier Innovator of the Year is a proud moment for all of us at Staylist.
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. It comes from listening to operators and having operators on our team who know firsthand how much traditional software has held the industry back. Too often, software just organizes work and leaves operators to actually do it.
With ApexOS, our new AI-native software, that changes. Operators simply tell Apex what they need, Apex does the work, and they review and approve.
That means operators can spend less time learning software and get back to what they love: hospitality.
Thank you to OHI, the judges, and every park that trusts us to help them grow.
